So, today I wore a scooter helmet for the first time, it was my mate’s who has recently bought a scooter. I really want to get a scooter at the moment but my parents all say they are too dangerous and it would be better to get a car… Though I don’t disagree with them, I also know that riding a scooter has its pro’s too (e.g. more fuel efficent). As regards to the whole “safety” arguement, I don’t know where I stand, I agree with my parents but at the same time, I have a lot of friends who are sensible drivers of scooters who say, “you’ve got to be just as vigilant no-matter what you’re driving!” 

If I could get one I’d consider buying either:
